I'm making a lot of public snips which are synced with gist.github.io. When I make a new snip I set it to public so the gist is also public. That's great.
But occasionally I forget to change the setting before making the snip. Because privacy setting changes cannot be synced between cacher and gist (for understandable reasons), this means I have to change the visibility twice (once in cacher and once in gist) to fix it.
Because I'm primarily making public snips it would be very convenient if there was a setting where I could change the default visibility for new snips to be public. Then I wouldn't have to remember to change it every time. (Obviously the default value for the default-visibility setting would be Private.)
