Search in app slow at times

I've had this issue for a while now where the search is just really slow and I have to wait a good couple of seconds before my text input even shows up, similar to a slow disk maybe(which I don't have) A re-installation helped temporarily, but its slow again. I'm always up to date with the newest updates popping up. Anyone else having this issue/is this being worked on?
